Support Wesley Glen! Led by our own Cameron Bishop, Wesley Glen Ministries is a private, not for profit agency of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, dedicated to serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Coming up soon are three ways you can help support their ministry.
First, get your car washed on Friday, September 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. That Friday is Wesley Glen Day at Tidal Wave Car Wash off Zebulon Road. Half the cost of the car wash goes to Wesley Glen along with any donations received. I’ll be out there from 4 to 5 p.m. holding a bucket to receive those donations. Come by and visit me!
Second, Bruce Shepard, Spencer Smith, a friend of mine named Jon Brown, and I will all be participating in the Wesley Glen Sporting Clays Tournament the morning of Friday, September 23. This is a fundraiser for Wesley Glen ministries. There’s still time to register as a team or an individual participant for the shoot. You can also pray for us, cheer us on, and donate to Wesley Glen via their website https://donate.onecause.com/wgm/donate or by mailing a check to 4580 N. Mumford Rd. Macon, GA 31210.
Third, please pray for Wesley Glen, for all the staff there, and for our own Cameron Bishop, as they continue their vital ministry here in Macon.
See you at the car wash!
