This week’s Staff Spotlight is our Communications Director, Millie Johnson! Millie may be a familiar face to you – she’s been on staff at Mulberry since October 2021. Millie’s role at Mulberry involves all things social media, the website, the newsletter and the weekly livestream of our worship service. You can usually find her in the balcony of the sanctuary on any given Sunday.
Millie grew up in Eastman, GA, and attended Emory University, where she studied English. She is a lifelong United Methodist and grew up attending Eastman First UMC before she left for college, where she was involved with the Emory Wesley Fellowship and was a counselor at Epworth by the Sea’s summer camps. Before joining the Mulberry team, Millie worked at GNTV Media Ministry, an extension ministry of the South Georgia Annual Conference, where she specialized in live video production, graphic design and video editing. In her free time, she is an avid reader of southern lit and historical nonfiction, and also enjoys photography and painting.
